Bible Study: Throughout the year, St. Mark's has Bible study. The topics, as well as the time, are determined by those participating. This is a wonderful time of learning and strengthening one's faith, as well as spending time in fellowship. Sunday School: Children participate in the first half of the worship service with their family. After the children's sermon, children proceed to Sunday School classes for the remainder of the worship service. During Intergenerational Services, which occur the second Sunday of every month, youth members remain in the sanctuary with their family for the entire service. These services are designed to engage all ages through a variety of drama and interaction with the scripture. Confirmation: Confirmation classes are offered to youth beginning in 8th grade. This is a 2-year program with classes occuring twice a month typically on Wednesday evenings. Classes are taught primarily by the pastor. This program offers young people an opportunity to explore thier own fiath and learn about the traditions and history of the church. There are also opportunities to learn about other faiths. At the end of this program - the confirmands will make a decision whether or not to affirm thier baptismal vows. If they have not been baptized - they can chose to be baptized as well.
